Description

The Philadelphia Undergraduate Mathematics Conference Series is a collaborative effort of the Mathematics Departments at Bryn Mawr College, La Salle University, and Temple University. Our goal is to provide professional opportunities and exposure to undergraduate students from the Philadelphia area interested in Mathematics. The conference will feature:

• Plenary Lecture - Renee Bell, University of Pennsylvania
  • Analogies Between Fields and Spaces: Galois Groups and Fundamental Groups
• Plenary Lecture - Katharine Ott, Bates College
  • Convolution: From Calculus to Image Processing
