appointment Text: Hughes- Hallett, Gleason, McCallum et al., Calculus: Single Variable, Third Edition, John Wiley and Sons, 2002. Syllabus: Math C076 meets 8 hours a week for 6 weeks, a total of 48 hours. Chapter 5: Key Concept: The Definite Integral I will cover all sections Chapter 6: Constructing Antiderivatives I will cover sections 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.5. Section 6.4 is optional Chapter 7: Integration I will cover all sections . Chapter 8: Using the Definite Integral I will cover Sections 8.1, 8.2 and 8.4. Chapter 11: Differential Equations I will cover sections 11.1- 11.7. If time allows, also I will cover 11.10 and 11.11 Grading: 4 quizzes will be done by the end of each chapter. This will count as 30% of the final grade. 5 homework assignments will be given. This will count as 30% of the final grade. A final exam will be done by the end of the semester. It is a comprehensive exam including all sections covered throughout the semester.
