I have many non-math hobbies. I enjoy writing, photography, traveling, getting haircuts, and exploring Philadelphia. I have been learning to build things out of wood. A good starting point for learning to build simple furniture is Ana White's website and blog. So far, I have built a night stand and a large book shelf. My next project is a custom wardrobe/armoire, but that will take a while to design. I have never developed my visual art skills beyond those of an eight-year-old, so I have been taking free art classes at the Fleisher Art Memorial. I would highly recommend it to any Philadelphia denizen.
