Hello, my name is Kirk. M. Soodhalter. I am a graduate student working on my Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Mathematics and English Literature from Tulane University in 2004. Before joining the ranks of Temple University mathematics graduate students, I worked for two years as a medical writer/editor for the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. In May of 2010, I received my Master's degree in mathematics from Temple University. My primary areas of research are numerical linear algebra, numerical algorithms, and data analysis. My adviser is Daniel Szyld

For the Fall 2011 semester, I am the instructor for Math 1021 Section 26, College Algebra.
