ALL FOUR tests must be passed by the date of the final, or you won't be allowed to take the final. No exceptions!

Chapter 2: 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-6
Chapter 3: 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 (skip the "x-a < b" part of 3-3)
Chapter 4: 4-1 through 4-5
Chapter 5: all except 5-5 and 5-6
Chapter 6: all except 6-7
Chapter 7: all except 7-8
Chapter 8: all except 8-7, 8-9
Chapter 11: 11-1 through 11-5, and 11-8
Appendix B (scientific notation)
Chapter 9: all
Chapter 10: all except 10-8, 10-11
Chapter 12: 12-1, 12-4, 12-7, 12-8

Tests: The first test will cover chapters 1, 2 and 3. The second test will cover chapters 4, 5 and 6. The third test will cover chapters 7, 8 and 11. The fourth test will cover chapters 9, 10 and 12, as well as scientific notiation (from appendix B). The final will be cumulative.
