Math 55, Section 9

Suggested Practice Problems

Note: Although homework will not be graded, it is imperative that you work out all of the following problems (at a minimum) in order to succeed in this course.  Working out practice problems -- not memorization of formulas and/or examples -- is the most effective method of studying for a math test.

In addition to getting the correct answer, be sure to practice writing out your work in a clear, logical and thorough manner.  You may turn in your homework to have your work checked (not graded) if you are not sure whether your work is up to this standard.

The "due" date is the date by which you will be expected to have completed (or,  at least, seriously attempted) all of the suggested problems for a section, and it is the date on which these problems will be discussed in class.
