Section 1 Fall semester, 2000
UPDATE (12/15)
TESTS: Test 1 (Chapter
5) Test 2 (Chapter
6) Test 3 (Chapter
7)
Use these tests as study guides for the final exam. For each chapter, there will be one question on the final which will be similar to something on the corresponding test. Concentrate on the required portions of each test; none of the "extra credit" questions from these three tests will show up again on the final. UPDATE (12/8)
If you are submitting a project to improve your semester grade, be aware that all projects must be submitted by Thursday, 12/14, to receive consideration. Also, you will need to meet with me at least once with a "rough draft" of your project before turning in the final version. The final exam will be given on Friday, December 15, from 11:00AM - 1:00PM in our regular classroom. If you have a conflict at that time, you must arrange with me to take the final no later than Friday at 1:00. The final exam is worth 200 points, and it will be cumulative though weighted much more toward Chapter 8. In particular, the weighting is as follows: Chapter 8, 125 points; Chapters 5,6,7, 75 points total (almost evenly divided among the three chapters).
