Research

My research interest is in using graph theoretical methods to enhance the speed of solvers for large, sparse systems of linear equations. I finished my Diplomarbeit (Master Thesis) "Graph Theoretical Methods for Preconditioners" in 2004 at the Math Department of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal.

My advisor is Daniel Szyld. I also work closely with Andreas Frommer, the supervisor of my Diplomarbeit.

I gave a presentation of the work for my Diplomarbeit at the GAMM04 conference in Hagen, Germany.
You can download the PDF File of the presentation here.
