Over 10 years experience in pure and applied mathematics and computer science, with a Ph.D. in Partial Differential Equations, to be completed in May 2001.

Maximum use of my extensive experience, solid mathematics knowledge and culturally diverse background in a challenging teaching/research position.

 

EMPLOYMENT

 

09/93-Present: Temple University, Philadelphia; Teaching Assistant.

Taught the full range of lower undergraduate classes offered by the department: Calculus at all levels, Discrete Mathematics, Probability Theory, Statistics, other courses for students with various backgrounds and interests. Used modern techology: COW (Calculus On the Web), graphic calculators, Maple. Worked in two projects for curricular improvement. Tutored in the Math Learning Center. Taught GMAT preparation courses.
