Cortona is an ancient town of the Tuscany countryside, is located half way between Arezzo and Perugia. For more information, see http://www.cortona.net/

By car:
From the motorway A1 (Autostrada del Sole:), Exit "Valdichiana".
Just out of the motorway, take the main road Siena-Perugia,
direction Perugia.

There are three exits to Cortona:
1° CORTONA - Via Manzano
2° CORTONA- Via Lauretana (suggested)
3° CORTONA - Via S.S. n.71
Take the S.S. 71 and reach Camucia, then take the road "Strada Provinciale Umbro-Cortonese"
to Cortona and Città di Castello.


By train
Railway line: Milano-Bologna-Firenze-Roma
From Rome (km 194) or from Florence (km 122) you can reach the train station of Terontola-Cortona , or the train station of Camucia-Cortona.
There are public autobuses to Cortona from the train station of Terontola (11 Km) and from the train station of Camucia (5 Km).
Note that only Intercity trains stop in Terontola, while Eurostar trains stop in Arezzo ( 30 km)
