As a student in Math 55, Section 1, you are expected to spend about one hour every two weeks observing (and participating) in tutor/student interactions during tutorial sessions at the Mathematics/Science Resources Center. Information on the Center.

You are required to submit, at the end of the semester, a written individual report on your experience as an intern tutor. This report will be worth 5 points (out s uggest you keep a log of your visits to the Center, recording such information as times spent, questions asked by students, responses given by tutors, students' level of satisfaction and your overall impressions.

I hope that this learning/teaching experience helps you become aware of the types of problems that students generally have (related to content, assignments and expectations), and also learn how best to deal with them. I am also hopeful that i blems in mathematics.
