Department of Mathematics
Graduate Program Information
The Department of Mathematics at Temple University offers graduate work leading to the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The Ph.D. program prepares students for careers of research and teaching at the university level or for applied mathematical work in a private or governmental agency. The aim of the M.A. program is to provide students with a foundation sufficient to pursue careers in mathematics, industry, government or teaching.
